Activities that make a difference in our community
Engagement, enthusiasm and excitement about learning shouldn't stop when the bell rings. St. Paul has a rich portfolio of extra curricular programs that extend and enrich the school community.
Art Club - Students in K4 - 2nd grade meet once a month after school to learn about and create beautiful masterpieces!
Band - Want to learn how to play an instrument? Lessons are available for a fee to students in 4th - 8th grades.
Basketball - Students in grades 5th - 8th grade can be on our new basketball teams. Practices and games are scheduled and advertised through the club communication.
Beta Club - Students in 6th - 8th grade have the opportunity to earn a seat in the club through academics (quarterly grade average of 90). The mission of the Beta Club is to “promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.”
Board Game Buddies - Strategic minds and problem solvers belong in this group. 3rd - 6th grades have the opportunity to go head-to-head in battle of wits, chance, and skill as they learn about cooperation, sportsmanship, and competition.
Chess Club - Students in 1st - 8th grade meet every week to challenge themselves in the game of chess.
Choir - Students in 4th - 8th grade meet every Wednesday to enjoy fellowship and prepare songs for the Friday Mass.
Cross Country - Need an energy release? Students in 5th - 8th grade learn to pace themselves and improve their personal times through running. Cross country has a quick season at the beginning of the year. Practices and Cross Country Meets are announced through club communication.
Golf - Enjoy the afternoon with a round of golf or at the driving range. Students in 5th - 8th grades learn and compete in the game of golf. Practices and Golf Tournaments are announced through club communication.
Inside Out Game Club - Students play games either outside or inside. Open to those in K4 - 1st grades.
Mad Scientiests Club - Students in grades 1 - 3 get to express their inner scientist through experimentation and discovery.
SoccerShots - Come learn soccer skills from a SoccerShots Coach! Open to students in K4 - 2nd grades. A fee is required to join SoccerShots.
Student Council - Students in grades 1 - 8 are elected by their classmates to serve on the Student Council. The council meets every month to discuss topics to help serve the school. These can include service projects, fundraisers, and pep rallies.
Vocations Club - Many kids feel the first call to the priesthood or religious life in the fourth grade. Youth learn about becoming priests or religious women, and the many different calls that God has for us in our lives. Open to students in the 3rd - 8th grades.
Yearbook Club - Students in 8th grade join to create the yearbook for that current school year.
Extended Day Program
EDP (Extended Day Program) is offered to students of all ages for a minimal fee. Students are given a snack and help with their homework. Please contact the office for more details.
