I graduated from Converse College in 1981 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and am currently attending graduate school at Winthrop University. I worked several years in advertising, was a stay-at-home mom for a few years, and then started a part-time faux finishing business which continued until I came to St. Paul.

I have loved and pursued art since elementary school and make it a priority to spend a few hours on my own art each week. Examples of my work can be seen on my website.

I feel so blessed and grateful to be teaching at St. Paul. It is my fifth year and it has been an amazing pleasure, the faculty and staff is caring and supportive. We pray for each other and I feel like I’ve been welcomed into a close family (with a hundred or so kids).

From the principal

I am very proud to be the Principal at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. This is my ninth year here and it has been a wonderful experience; I have grown and learned so much! We have such a warm and involved school family!

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My Master’s Degree is in School Administration.

I taught Special Education classes in Spartanburg’s District 6, then moved to Miami, Fla., where I taught for 18 years and was a principal for five years. For four years I acted as an Educational Consultant to hospitals that served children with psychiatric/psychological illnesses.

I am very happy to be back in Spartanburg. I graduated form Spartanburg High School. Now I am back at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School where I was very active in the Parish CYO and my seven youngest brothers and sisters went to school.
