I hold a Master’s Degree in Education/Science from the State University of New York at Geneseo. I have taught science and math in New York, Connecticut and South Carolina.
I have been teaching here since 1994. Currently I am teaching science for fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth grades as well as religion for fifth and seventh grades. Some of my other duties include supervising the school’s Science Fair and Invention Conventions, acting as faculty adviser for the Science/Technology Club and the Guitar Club, and helping with choir practice.
I definitely love my job and have always felt privileged to teach at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. The excellent academic atmosphere, superior faculty, and well-disciplined students create an enviable workplace for any teacher. Also, I feel that the support of the parents is unparalleled and is a vital reason for the success of the school.

Seventh grade
From the principal

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My Master’s Degree is in School Administration.
I taught Special Education classes in Spartanburg’s District 6, then moved to Miami, Fla., where I taught for 18 years and was a principal for five years. For four years I acted as an Educational Consultant to hospitals that served children with psychiatric/psychological illnesses.
I am very happy to be back in Spartanburg. I graduated form Spartanburg High School. Now I am back at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School where I was very active in the Parish CYO and my seven youngest brothers and sisters went to school.
