I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University, a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master’s Degree in Media Sciences from Winthrop University. I taught in public schools as a classroom teacher for nine years before coming to St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. I am currently in my 10th year here.
I have always enjoyed teaching at the elementary level because the students are so impressionable and, as a teacher, I have always felt that I could have a positive influence on their futures. I believe this to be especially true at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School because in addition to demonstrating my strong faith in God, I can actively teach it!

From the principal

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My Master’s Degree is in School Administration.
I taught Special Education classes in Spartanburg’s District 6, then moved to Miami, Fla., where I taught for 18 years and was a principal for five years. For four years I acted as an Educational Consultant to hospitals that served children with psychiatric/psychological illnesses.
I am very happy to be back in Spartanburg. I graduated form Spartanburg High School. Now I am back at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School where I was very active in the Parish CYO and my seven youngest brothers and sisters went to school.
