I am the second-grade teacher at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. I attended Winthrop University and I am currently attending Converse for additional certification. This is my fourth year teaching and my second year at St. Paul. I always knew teaching was in my blood from the moment I took a step into a school building. I love the learning experience and I am glad I can be a helpful step in a child’s learning ladder.

I also attended St. Paul and I am a proud alumni and I love teaching here. It is always an honor to know that the teachers I grew to love and respect are now my friends and co-workers.

From the principal

I am very proud to be the Principal at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. This is my ninth year here and it has been a wonderful experience; I have grown and learned so much! We have such a warm and involved school family!

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My Master’s Degree is in School Administration.

I taught Special Education classes in Spartanburg’s District 6, then moved to Miami, Fla., where I taught for 18 years and was a principal for five years. For four years I acted as an Educational Consultant to hospitals that served children with psychiatric/psychological illnesses.

I am very happy to be back in Spartanburg. I graduated form Spartanburg High School. Now I am back at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School where I was very active in the Parish CYO and my seven youngest brothers and sisters went to school.
