I joined the faculty of St. Paul in 2006. Before teaching at St. Paul, I taught third, fourth, and fifth grades at Prince of Peace Catholic School in Taylors, SC, from 2004 to 2006 and taught fourth and third grades at my alma mater, Blessed Sacrament School, in Savannah, GA, from 1997–2004.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah. I have always been committed to Catholic education. I credit the teacher I am today to the teachers I encountered and the experiences I had growing up with 12 years of Catholic education. My childhood friends would recognize Mrs. Stickle, Mrs. Horne, Sister Margaret Mary and Sister Arlene in my teaching style. I hope to have the same positive influence on my students each day.

From the principal

I am very proud to be the Principal at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School. This is my ninth year here and it has been a wonderful experience; I have grown and learned so much! We have such a warm and involved school family!

I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. My Master’s Degree is in School Administration.

I taught Special Education classes in Spartanburg’s District 6, then moved to Miami, Fla., where I taught for 18 years and was a principal for five years. For four years I acted as an Educational Consultant to hospitals that served children with psychiatric/psychological illnesses.

I am very happy to be back in Spartanburg. I graduated form Spartanburg High School. Now I am back at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic School where I was very active in the Parish CYO and my seven youngest brothers and sisters went to school.
